Greencastle-Antrim 5, Big Spring 1: The Blue Devils continued their impressive season by defeating the Bulldogs on Wednesday in a makeup Mid Penn Colonial game in Newville.

“We had a few starters out of the lineup tonight because of sickness or injury, so I was proud of the way the boys responded,” G-A coach Aric Bruner said. “Our scoring and assists totals have been very balanced so far, and the boys are certainly playing with a team-first mentality.”

Greencastle (8-0-1, 7-0 MPC) got goals from Cooper Noblit, off a corner kick scramble, and Brady Wagner, assisted by Noah Parks, in the first half.

The Blue Devils made it 4-0 on goals by Parks and Henry Drawbaugh (assists to Ewan Coy and Caleb Baine). After Big Spring scored, Eli Christophel, assisted by Drawbaugh), scored the final tally.

Ethan Ford made 4 saves for G-A.
