Waynesboro takes first: The Mid Penn Colonial played its second tournament of the season Thursday at Greencastle G.C. and The Indians came through with the team win.

Tyler Fortney shot a 1-over par 73 to lead ‘Boro to the win, Kellan Smith had an 83 and Andrew Soffe and Stone Taylor each shot 88 for Waynesboro, which beat Northern, 332-341.

Shippensburg placed third, Greencastle-Antrim took fourth and James Buchanan tied for sixth with Big Spring.

For the Blue Devils, Cooper Swam shot 82 to tie for fourth place and Camden Eby carded a 90 for 14th place.

Mason Fogelsonger paced Ship with an 82 for a tie for fourth, while teammate Jack Johnson tied with JB’s Abram Stock for eighth place by shooting 87.
