The District 3 baseball playoff pairings were officially announced Wednesday.

In Class 5A, Greencastle-Antrim (14-4) ended up with the No. 4 ranking. The Blue Devils will host No. 13 Daniel Boone (12-8) in a first-round game on Friday afternoon at 4:30.

The winner will face the winner between No. 5 Lampeter-Strasburg (14-6) and No. 12 Spring Grove (11-9) in the quarterfinals on Monday. Should the Blue Devils play in the quarterfinals, they would host the game.

Shippensburg (11-8) received the No. 14 seed and will play at No. 3 seed Susquehannock (16-3) in the first round Friday at 4:30. The winner plays the winner of No. 6 Mechanicsburg (14-6) vs. No. 11 Donegal (13-7).

District 3 will announce the softball pairings by Friday afternoon.
