Chambersburg (2-10) took the first game 29-27, but Red Land (8-8) grabbed the next two, 25-19 and 26-24. The Trojans evened the count with a 25-23 win in Game 4.

“Each game was a battle and the teams were pretty evenly matched,” Chambersburg coach Ray Frazer said. “We improved a lot on the offensive side of the ball tonight. Andrew (Holtry) had a huge night with 22 kills and Reid Leidig did a great job with 11 kills. Both Andrew and Reid did a great job of blocking with three each.

“Reed Myers was able to dish out 48 assists and did a good job of getting the middle involved to open up our other hitters. Myers (15 digs) and Reid Leidig (12) also did a great job defensively.”

Cole Leidig came up with 8 kills and 8 digs; Joseph Stopyra had 7 kills and 2 blocks; Joseph Byers posted 9 digs and 3 aces; Kerlyn Reyes had 8 digs; and Brian Sulcove, Myers, Holtry and Cole Leidig had one ace each.
