Southern Fulton rallies to defeat Tussey Mountain

The Southern Fulton Indians (8-0, 6-0) stole the lead late in the game in a 5-3 victory over the Tussey Mountain Titans on Thursday.  Southern Fulton was down 3-2 in the top of the fifth inning when Ethan Powell singled on a 1-1 count, scoring two runs.

The Titans fired up the offense in the second inning as Noah Lucko homered on a  1-2 count, scoring two runs.

Ethan Mellott toed the rubber for Southern Fulton Indians. The fireballer went four and a third innings, allowing three runs on three hits and striking out six.

Cam Chilcote led things off on the mound for Tussey Mountain. Chilcote surrendered four runs on two hits over four innings, striking out two.  Christian Santamaria threw three innings out of the bullpen.

Powell led Southern Fulton Indians with two hits in three at bats.  Southern Fulton Indians tore up the base paths, as two players stole at least two bases. Kasey Fitz led the way with three and scored 3 runs.

The Indians travel to Hancock on Saturday to take on the Panthers at 11:00am.
