The Shalom Lady Flames defeated the Calvary Lady Eagles 47-37 Tuesday night. Despite a slow start, the Flames kept up the defensive pressure and slowly pulled away from the Lady Eagles despite being outscored 15-4 from the foul line.
Jaicee Keller led the Flame’s defense while scoring a season-high 13 points, Addison Adams had 6 steals and 10 rebounds to go along with her 14 points. Emily Rebok came off the bench grabbing 5 rebounds for the Flames – Joanna Rheam, Maya Lehman and Chloe Martin added 7, 6, and 4 points for the Flames.
Bethany Carrington led Calvary with 21 points 11 were from the foul line.
The Flames play New Life Christian School Friday. Gametime is 5:30 pm.
BOYS: Shalom Varsity Boys 82 Calvary Christian 49. Shalom picked up a conference home win using a strong first half. After the first quarter, the lead was 22-12 and the lead was increased to 45-20 by the end of the first half. Connor Roseman, Ethan Hubers, and Trenton Kuhns all reached double figures and 3 others had at least 8 points.
