Southern Fulton defeated Forbes Road 43 to 28 on Friday evening in a home conference game. The Indians (9-1, 7-0 ICC) led 13 to 11 after the 1st period and closed out the 4th period 13 to 2, taking the victory.
Coach Jeremy Hann said “Forbes is better than they have been in a while, the toughest part is, handling 6’8”, 6’5”, and 6’4”,that is not something we have to play against everyday”.
Southern Fulton was led by Dane Harvey with 16 points, 12 rebounds, and 3 assists. Ethan Mellott had 7 points, and 2 rebounds, Hunter Ward had 6 points, 2 rebounds, and 2 steals. Josh Morgan had 5 points, 3 rebounds. Austin Mann had 4 points, 4 rebounds. Jett Burger had 3 points, 3 rebounds, and 2 assists. Sammy Stotler added 2 points.
Forbes Road was led by Jacoby Knepper with 13 points. Southern Fulton will play Northern Bedford, at home, on Tuesday night in another conference game.
