Frances Maury scored both goals for Trinity (13-1), which is ranked No. 1 in Class 2A in District 3.

Greencastle (14-1-1) dropped down to No. 4 in the Class 3A district rankings.

G-A coach Chris Noblit said, “It was actually a pretty even game. They scored their second goal (on a breakaway) with about three minutes left after we moved Rylee (Henson) and Mia (Libby) up to offense.”

Blue Devil goalkeeper Lexi Nelson made six saves, but on one of her saves in the first half she was run into by a Shamrock player and was hurt. She tried to return, but was unable to continue.

“A couple of her saves were incredible,” Noblit said.
