Chambersburg 3, Cedar Cliff 1: A night after a heartbreaking defeat, the Trojans rallied to hand the Colts a Mid Penn Commonwealth defeat on Tuesday night at CASHS Field House, reversing an earlier loss to Cedar Cliff.
Chambersburg (6-10, 2-7 MPC) took the first game 25-23, fell 18-25, then snapped back with 25-22 and 26-24 wins.
“We played well tonight for an entire match and didn’t have any letdown,” Chambersburg coach Ty Frelin said. “We beat a good team in Cedar Cliff by finally doing the little things at the end of the match. I was happy for our girls to get this nice win.”
Morgan Stockslager was all over the stat sheet, finishing with 10 service points, 2 aces, 2 blocks, 16 kills and 14 digs.
Addi Kegerreis blocked 3 balls and had 12 kills, Paige Davis had 9 kills and 17 digs, Ashli Ganoe had 11 points, 3 aces and 23 assists, Karley Skultety dug up 18 balls, Kate Etter had 17 digs, Kylie Hanna blocked 4 balls and Cara Bratthauer had 3 blocks.
