GIRLS CROSS COUNTRY
Paci earns title: Greencastle-Antrim junior Claire Paci was in postseason form Saturday and captured the title at the prestigious Carlisle Invitational.
Paci ran a fine time of 17:54.3 — which was a personal best — to defeat Chambersburg rival Camryn Kiser (17:57.0).
BOYS CROSS COUNTRY
Blue Devils place 5th: Hayden Parks came in 17th place for Greencastle-Antrim and he led the Blue Devils to a strong fifth-place finish at the Carlisle Invitational on Saturday.
GIRLS VOLLEYBALL
Blue Devils win tourney crown: Greencastle-Antrim won its second tournament title of the season on Saturday, capturing the Manheim Central Tournament.
G-A defeated Red Lion in the semifinals, then took out the host Barons 25-14 in a dominating championship match.
Blue Devil statistics leaders for the day included: Abigail Eagler (23 kills, 16 aces, 13 digs); Kiley Burkholder (21 kills, 7 digs, 3 blocks); Kate Furnish (17 kills, 5 blocks); Bri Woodring (9 aces, 13 digs); and Madie Eagler (72 assists, 5 aces).
