Izhais Jean

BOYS SOCCER
Chambersburg 10, Cedar Cliff 1: The Trojan offense has had a huge week, scoring 18 goals in two away games, and some of that attack was unleashed on the Colts in a Mid Penn Commonwealth game at Lowther Field on Wednesday afternoon.

Michael Cespedes cracked in three goals for his third hat trick of the season, and Izhais Jean also collected three goals. Goetz Dickman scored twice, while Cohen Redding and Isa Barrios hit the net once each.

Redding racked up 4 assists, and Cristian Lopez, Ayden Findley, Aaron Mort and Lleyton Lovett each was credited with an assist for Chambersburg (4-2, 2-2 MPC).

“It was  good result once again,” Trojan coach Corey Grove said. “It was great to see a freshman, Izhais Jean, score a hat trick and to see Michael Cespedes with back-to-back hat tricks. We get some much-needed rests from games over the next few days and we’ll have to get ready for another tough run next week.”
