Blazers fall in match at Heritage

HAGERSTOWN, Md. – The Cumberland Valley Christian Blazers gave Heritage Academy a tough match but wound up dropping a 3-0 decision Monday in a Mason Dixon Christian Conference girls volleyball match.

Heritage won by tight scores of 25-19 and 25-22 in the first and third sets. The Eagles also prevailed 25-5 in the second game.

For the Blazers (2-5, 1-5 MDCC), Julia Waltz had four kills, two aces and a block. Chloe Shunk had six assists, and Sydney Wiegand had three digs.
