Greencastle-Antrim, which tied with Northern York for the Mid Penn Colonial Division title last week, has emerged as a participant in the Mid Penn Conference baseball tournament on Tuesday.
The Blue Devils (13-5) will take on Capital Division champion Camp Hill (15-4) at 4 p.m. at Nye Field in Hummelstown. The final will be held at 7 p.m. the same day at Hershey H.S. Altoona (Commonwealth) and Mechanicsburg *Keystone) play in the other semifinal.
The tiebreaker to get into the league playoffs was which team had a higher District 3 ranking, and Northern held that position last week. But Polar Bear losses on Friday and Saturday vaulted Greencastle ahead of them in the rankings.
Ironically, G-A and Camp Hill were scheduled to meet in the first week of the season and the game had been postponed and not made up.
