Chambersburg roundup: Boys lax scores lopsided win on Senior Night

Chambersburg 17, Cedar Cliff 2: The Trojans held Senior Night on Wednesday at Trojan Stadium and they had some fun in a romp over the Colts in a Mid Penn Commonwealth contest.

The win snapped a three-game skid for Chambersburg (6-11, 2-4 MPC).

For the five seniors, Dom Marangoni stood out with four goals, two assists and four groundballs, and he is now three points from a single-season Trojan record. Also, Carson Forrester won 13 of 19 faceoffs, scooped up seven groundballs and scored a goal; Riley Schaeffer scored a goal and had four groundballs, Dylan Barefoot had a pair of GBs and goalie Raudel Perez made three saves.

Shea Makosy led the rest of the team with four goals, an assist, four GBs and two caused turnovers, and Sam Kunkleman fired in three goals, along with three assists and three GBs.

Also, Logan Mulkey had a goal, two assists and three GBs, Garrett Iser scored a goal and assisted on two others, Riley Harmon had a goal, two assists and four GBs, Jackson Beardsley scored once and had two assists, Owen Shearer picked up nine GBs and Kristian Freeman made two saves.

Cedar Cliff 14, Chambersburg 6: The Trojans played their final Mid Penn Commonwealth game of the season on Wednesday night and fell to the Colts on the road.

Ridglee Flohr had a good game on offense for Chambersburg (3-12, 1-5 MPC), tallying three goals and assisting on two of the others.

Hannah Woolf fired in two goals and Gabriella Sabatini contributed one score.
