G-A (1-0, 1-0 MPC) scored two runs in the first inning and West Perry got one in the fifth and another in the seventh to tie the game.
Pitcher Andrew Kerns had a fine game — 11 strikeouts, 3 hits, 1walk and a run in 5.2 innings — but had to pulled because of the pitch count. Jace Szaflarski pitched the final 1.1 innings. Ethan Ford was 2-for-3 for the Blue Devils.
