The Shippensburg Greyhounds won their 7th game in a row Saturday night with a 65-30 drubbing of the Gettysburg Warriors in the first game of the 14th annual “Dunks for Drew” at CASHS.
Shippensburg turned an 18-11 first quarter advantage into a 39-19 halftime lead, then scored the first 21 points of the second half to completely rout Gettysburg, (4-5).
The Greyhounds, (7-1, 4-0MPC), placed three players in double figures led by Anthony Smith with 20. He was joined by Jayden Statum with 19 and Jeremy Thomas with 10.
For Gettysburg, Trenton Ramirez-Keller, Ian McLean, and Joshua Herr each scored six in a losing effort.
Shippensburg returns to action Tuesday night in a key Mid-Penn Colonial match up with Waynesboro. The Indians are a perfect 6-0 in conference play and 8-2 overall, with their two losses coming at the hands of Chambersburg.
