Southern Fulton lost to Berkeley Springs 37 to 34 in the championship game of the Berkeley Springs Holiday tournament. The Indians 6-1 (4-0 ICC) out rebounded Berkeley 23 to 10 but a hot shooting 3rd period by BSHS turned out to be too much to overcome by SF. Coach Jeremy Hann stated “We played hard, kept the game where we wanted it. Our defense was on point but those 3s they hit in the 3rd were tough to overcome in a possession by possession game like this one. They just hit shots when we didn’t tonight”. Zach Price (All Tournament) led SF with 14 points, 16 rebounds, and 2 assists. Holden Stotler had 9 points. Konner Pittman (All Tournament) had 3 points, 3 assists, and a steal. Kasey Fitz had 3 points, 4 rebounds, 3 assists, and a block. Tyler Mosemann added 3 points, 2 rebounds, and 3 steals. Berkeley Springs was led Gavin Barkley with 13 points.
Southern Fulton next plays on Wednesday, January 5th at Northern Bedford in an ICC matchup.
