Boiling Springs 64, Greencastle-Antrim 58: The Blue Devils trailed by only one point heading into the fourth period, but too much of Boiling Springs’ Trey Martin was the difference in a Mid Penn Colonial game Wednesday night in Greencastle.

Martin scored 11 points in the fourth period as his team outscored G-A, 22-17. Martin totaled 30 points in the game and also scored the 1,000th point of his career.

Conner Wright scored a career-high 23 points for the Blue Devils (1-5, 1-3 MPC), Eli Sterling had 9 and Logan Alvey chipped in 8, which was also his career high.

The Bubblers hit 13 of 18 free throws, while Greencastle was 5-for-6.

Greencastle 41, Boiling Springs 13: The Blue Devils rolled to a13-2 lead after one period and a stifling defense never let up in a Mid Penn Colonial victory Wednesday night on the road.

The Bubblers scored only 2 points in the first period and just 1 in the third. Greencastle moved its record to 8-0 (4-0 MPC).

Haley Noblit put up 17 points and made 4 steals for the Blue Devils. Mia Libby had 12 points, 3 assists and 6 steals. Also for G-A, Lauren Pool had 4 points and 7 rebounds, Shaina Overcash stole the ball 5 times, and Meadow Gambacurta pulled down 6 boards.
