Greencastle-Antrim 65, West Perry 43: The Mustangs hung around through three quarters Tuesday night in a Mid Penn Colonial game, trailing by 9, but the Blue Devils piled it on in the fourth with a 21-8 advantage to win going away.

Conner Wright had a big game for Greencastle (1-2, 1-0 MPC), scoring 22 points, with 15 coming in the second half. Eli Sterling contributed 12 points, while Blake Shadoan had 9 and Jackson Wright 8 for the Blue Devils.

West Perry, led by Dante Beddia’s 17 points, scored 19 of its points at the free throw line.

Greencastle-Antrim 54, West Perry 34: Playing in their first home game and first Mid Penn Colonial game of the season, the Blue Devils started out hot with a pair of 3-pointers from Rylee Henson and cruised past West Perry on Tuesday night.

Greencastle (3-0, 1-0 MPC) built a 16-point lead by halftime, then Lauren Pool helped expand that lead in the second half by scoring 13 of her 18 points in the latter half. Ainsley Swindell scored all of her 7 points in that half, too.

Pool also collected 5 rebounds, Mia Libby had 8 points, 11 rebounds, 4 assists and 5 steals, Haley Noblit contributed 4 points, 5 boards and 7 assists, while Henson ended up with 8 points and 4 rebounds. The team was credited with a total of 16 steals.
