BOYS SOCCER
West Perry 4, Greencastle-Antrim 2: The unbeaten Mustangs were held scoreless in the first half, then scored two goals early in the second half and held off the Blue Devils in a Mid Penn Colonial game Tuesday night in Elliottsburg.

G-A coach Aric Bruner said, “We played a very disciplined and solid first half of soccer against a very good West Perry squad (11-0-1). We had most of the run of play in the first half and you could tell they were on their heels a little. West Perry was able to exploit our defense for two quick goals early in the second half. We switched up some things offensively then and allowed ourselves to attack more and we felt it was working pretty well, but it opened up our back line for West Perry later in the half.”

Theo Gerald-Oreste scored both of the goals for the Blue Devils (3-6-1 (2-4-1 MPC), one on an assist by Cale Stover and the second after a pass from Ewan Coy. Keeper Gavin Davidson made 11 saves.
