Heritage sweeps 3 sets from Blazers

HAGERSTOWN, Md. – After dropping a tough first match, the Cumberland Valley Christian Blazers fell in the next two sets and lost 3-0 to Heritage Academy Monday in a Mason Dixon Christian Conference girls volleyball match.

Heritage (7-3 MDCC) emerged from a tight battle in the first set with a 25-23 victory. Heritage then won consecutive games of 25-18 and 25-17 to take the match.

For the Blazers (6-4, 4-4 MDCC), Regan Bard had 23 assists and three kills, Morgan Householder added 13 kills and seven digs, Kendra Bard collected eight kills and two aces, Julia Waltz had three kills, Peyton Timmons contributed six digs, and Landrie Miller added four digs.
