Shalom Christian captured the last two sets and defeated the Cumberland Valley Christian Blazers 3-1 Friday in a Mason Dixon Christian Conference girls volleyball match.
Shalom and the Blazers (3-3, 2-3 MDCC) traded 25-19 victories in the first two games. Shalom (2-2 MDCC) then took the next two games by 25-16 scores to wrap up the match.
Regan Bard led the Blazers in assists with 17 and in aces with three. Kendra Bard led in digs with 13, followed by Julia Waltz and Morgan Householder with eight each and Emily Bullock and Peyton Timmons with four apiece. Householder paced the Blazers in kills with 11, and Waltz added five kills and two blocks.
Shalom won the JV contest 2-0.
