Central Dauphin 3, Chambersburg 1: The Rams scored two runs off starter Dru Bowling in the top of the first inning and that turned out to be the difference in CD’s Mid Penn Commonwealth win over the Trojans on Saturday at Greene Township Park.
Bowling threw a complete game, allowing six hits, two walks and striking out four batters. The runs in the first inning scored on a walk, an RBI double and a ground out.
Central Dauphin (13-5) made it 3-0 in the fourth, then Chambersburg scored its only run in the sixth. Aaden Newman led off with a triple to left field and Evan Wagaman followed with an RBI single.
Wagaman had two of the three hits for the Trojans (5-13, 1-12 MPC).
