BERLIN – Southern Fulton traveled to Berlin Brothersvalley and was defeated 75 to 36 on Saturday afternoon.
The Indians (4-4, 3-3 ICC) trailed 22 to 5 at the end of the first period, and could never get going against the District 5 leading Mountaineers.
“It was like running head into a buzz saw,” SF Coach Jeremy Hann said. “They came out and laid it on us from the first second. I didn’t have my team ready to play for this game, and we have a lot of work to do if we see them again in March.”
Josh Morris led Southern Fulton with 12 points, 3 assists, and 2 steals. Zach Price had 11 points, 2 rebounds, and a block. Dane Harvey had 7 points and 5 rebounds.
Southern Fulton out-rebounded Berlin, 15-13, but had 21 turnovers compared to the Mountaineers’ 4.
Berlin was led by Elijah Sechler with 22 points.
Southern Fulton travels to James Buchanan on Monday evening for a 6pm start.
