Berlin rips Southern Fulton boys basketball

BERLIN – Southern Fulton traveled to Berlin Brothersvalley and was defeated 75 to 36 on Saturday afternoon.

The Indians (4-4, 3-3 ICC) trailed 22 to 5 at the end of the first period, and could never get going against the District 5 leading Mountaineers.

“It was like running head into a buzz saw,” SF Coach Jeremy Hann said. “They came out and laid it on us from the first second. I didn’t have my team ready to play for this game, and we have a lot of work to do if we see them again in March.”

Josh Morris led Southern Fulton with 12 points, 3 assists, and 2 steals.  Zach Price had 11 points, 2 rebounds, and a block.  Dane Harvey had 7 points and 5 rebounds.

Southern Fulton out-rebounded Berlin, 15-13, but had 21 turnovers compared to the Mountaineers’ 4.

Berlin was led by Elijah Sechler with 22 points.

Southern Fulton travels to James Buchanan on Monday evening for a 6pm start.
