Chambersburg roundup: Trojan boys defeated by Falcons

Malaki Blair

BOYS BASKETBALL
Lower Dauphin 46, Chambersburg 30: The Trojans held the Falcons to 46 points, their opponents’ lowest point total of the season, but Chambersburg had its lowest output so far, too, and it resulted in a non-league defeat Tuesday night at CASHS Field House.

“Our defense improved, especially getting back in transition and limiting easy baskets,” Chambersburg coach Shawn Shreffler said. “LD is a skilled and experienced team and should be pushing for Keystone Division and 5A titles.”

The Trojans received 8 points from Jacob Bassham and 6 points each from Malaki Blair and Gus Mace.

Shreffler said, “We committed too many live ball turnovers that led directly to easy baskets. We must be more solid and stronger with the ball.”
