Chambersburg roundup: Rams romp in girls basketball

The Trojans managed only one field goal through the first half and only two through three periods in a loss to powerful Central Dauphin in a Mid Penn Commonwealth game Tuesday night.

Joelle Rheam hit a basket in the first quarter, Madi Flythe nailed a 3-pointer in the third and Rosalynn Diehl scored 7 points in the final quarter to account for Chambersburg’s offense.

The Trojans (0-2, 0-1 MPC) were missing a pair of starting guards. For CD, Maddie LaFrance scored 19 points and Caroline Shiery added 16.

There were no foul shots attempted in the entire game.
