The 2020 MyHOUSE Trojan Wars wrestling tournament will not be held due to the COVID-19 situation. Here is a statement from tournament director Dave Peck:
After much thought, we have come to the unfortunate decision to cancel the 2020 MyHOUSE Trojan Wars due to the ongoing restrictions related to COVID-19. We explored different options, but came to the realization that hosting an event of this size cannot happen due to state and local requirements associated with the pandemic.
Options: Teams have the option to reserve their spot for 2021 (dates will be Dec 29-30, 2021). All teams for 2020 will automatically be accepted into the 2021 event if they wish to do so. Also, we are holding the dates for this year’s event and may attempt to hold some type of dramatically scaled-down competition on those dates should COVID-19 related restrictions ease between now and then. Payments: Teams that have already paid may have their payment applied to the 2021 event if you chose or we can issue a refund. If you would like to be refunded, please email Angi Davenport at firstname.lastname@example.org and provide her with the request and a mailing address to send the refund check to.
