The Cumberland Valley Christian Blazers scored three goals within the game’s first eight minutes and rolled to a 12-3 victory over Heritage Academy Tuesday in a Mason-Dixon Christian Conference boys soccer game.
Heritage managed a goal to trim the lead to 3-1, but the Blazers responded with another three-goal flurry midway through the first half to pretty much settle the outcome. The Blazers (7-1, 5-1 MDCC) led 7-2 at halftime.

Cumberland Valley Christian’s Isaac Kauffeldt battles a Heritage player for possession during the Blazers’ 12-3 win Tuesday.
Wyatt Pine scored four goals and Max Crawford added a hat trick for the Blazers. Samuel Shunk scored twice, and Josh Rowe, Isaac Kauffeldt and Caleb Eckert added a goal apiece.
Mario Wiesman contributed five assists. Crawford, Rowe, Eckert, Ryan Winters, Blaine Minnier, Noah Randolph and Seth Bumbaugh pitched in with an assist each.
“We passed very well,” Blazers coach Stan Hott said. “Josh did a great job shutting down the passing lanes. Wyatt, Max and Mario shredded the opposing team’s defense. Max came away with the player of the game tonight.”
