Obviously, the 2019-20 sports year did not end on a good note for many area student-athletes.
However, 12 Greencastle-Antrim senior athletes are hoping next year — their first on the college scene — will have a more positive outcome, depending on the influence of the COVID-19 situation.
Taryn Parks, who won multiple PIAA titles in her outstanding career as a runner, will be taking her talents to the University of North Carolina. She is the only G-A athlete headed to a Division I school.
