Windber 39 Southern Fulton 34

Windber, Pa. – Southern Fulton traveled to Windber to take on the Ramblers in the District V Class AA Semifinal and came up a little short falling 39 to 34. The Indians led 7 to 4 at the end of the first but trailed by 4 at the half. Lindsey Hollenshead led Southern Fulton with a game high 20 points and 14 rebounds. The Indians tied the game in the fourth but Windber was able to finish the game off with the 5 point win. Indian Coach Joe Hollenshead commented, ” Our girls played well.  We missed 13 layups and we were still tied 30-30.  We just didn’t finish.  Lindsey had a great game tonight.” Windber (16-3) will play in the District V AA Championship at Pitt – Johnstown on Friday at 6:30 against top seeded Everett (18-1). Southern Fulton finishes their season at 14 wins and 9 losses.
