The result was a 46-19 defeat to the Raiders (19-6), who will host No. 5 seed Spring Grove (16-6) on Friday. The Rockets knocked out Shippensburg (13-11), 50-38, on Tuesday.

The Blue Devils finish the season with a 15-8 record.

Twin Valley started out strong, taking a 13-2 lead by the end of the first quarter. But despite not being able to score a lot of points, G-A kept it close, trailing only 28-17 late in the third period.

But the Raiders’ Ava Morrow (19 points) hit a buzzer-beater to end the third quarter, and Twin Valley outscored Greencastle 18-2 the rest of the way. Peyton McDaniels, a James Madison recruit, also had 16 for TV.

Freshman Mia Libby scored 10 points and had 5 rebounds for the Blue Devils. Lauren Pool had 4 points and 5 boards and Sayge Wilhide had 3 points and 2 assists.

Greencastle connected on only 1 of 17 tries from behind the arc, and converted only 4 of 12 shots from the free throw line.
