Warfordsburg, Pa. – Bellwood-Antis was defeated by Southern Fulton Saturday afternoon 56 to 43 in a non-conference game. The Indians (14-6, 10-3 ICC) trailed at the half 25 to 22 but out scored Bellwood 16 to 4 in the 3rd period and never trailed the rest of the game. Coach Jeremy Hann commented, “They shot well in the first half. We made our adjustments and I relayed to the boys what kind of defensive effort it was going to take. They must have understood because they took the challenge.  This is a good defensive unit when we lock in. Dylan Melton stepped up today. He played very well on both sides of the ball. Justin Morris has just been lights out. He almost had a triple double tonight. His floor game has been great!” Dylan Melton led SF with 13 points, 6 rebounds, and 2 steals. Gabe Stotler had 12 points and 6 rebounds. Justin Morris had 9 points, 9 rebounds, 13 assists, and 2 steals.  Josh Stocker and Konner Pittman both added 8 points. Bellwood-Antis was led by Z. Miller with 10 points and 6 rebounds. Rebounds – BAHS 13 SF 28. Turnovers – BAHS 8 SF 15. JV – SF 51 BAHS 26 (SF – Luke Fitz and Holden Stotler 11 points each) Southern Fulton will host Southern Huntingdon on Tuesday at 6:00.
