SWIMMING
State College sweeps Trojans: The Little Lions won the girls Mid Penn Commonwealth meet on Tuesday, 142-37 over Chambersburg, while SC also won the boys meet, 116.5-69.5.

Trojan girls coach Donnie Miller said, “There were some good swims, but again there were mistakes (with DQs). We need to clean up our form and mechanics before we can consistently swim fast times.

“Even though the score tonight may not reflect it, both Chambersburg teams have athletes doing some great things in the pool. As we move forward, we hope to build on those successes.”

For the Trojan boys (1-1, 1-1 MPC), Robert Pong won the 50 free in 23.98, Colby Estep captured the 500 free in 5:00.35 and C.J. Pong won the 100 backstroke in 54.29.
