However, the unbeaten Trojans held the Little Lions to just four field goals in the second half, and ended up winning the game by 23 points to run their record to 4-0 (2-0 MPC).

“Our guys dug themselves out of the hole and outscored them 58-27 the rest of the way,” Chambersburg coach Shawn Shreffler said. “We received major contributions from a lot of guys, whether defending, scoring or sharing.”

The Trojans spread the scoring out among nine players, with Ethan Shreffler leading the way with 13. Carter Sollenberger hit double figures with 10, Braden Byers ended with 9 points and Henry Shearer had 8.

Shreffler said, “State College has played an extremely tough schedule and competed well against it, so we knew it would be a tough game. I was really proud of how we responded and fought back after the rough start.”

Johnny Friberg led the Little Lions (2-3, 0-2 MPC) with 15 points.
