Greencastle-Antrim 57, Boiling Springs 51, OT: The Blue Devils outscored the Bubblers 6-0 in overtime to earn their first victory of the season Thursday in a Mid Penn Colonial matchup on the road.

J.T. English and Zach Cole made baskets and Thomas Lewis sank two free throws to account for G-A’s margin of victory.
“It was an unbelievable win; the kids played their hearts out,” Greencastle coach Rick Lewis said.
For the Blue Devils (1-3, 1-1 MPC), Thomas Lewis cashed in five 3-pointers and racked up 20 points, Cole produced 13 points and English had 11, while Adam Murr struck for 9.
English drained a 3-pointer at the end of regulation to send the game into overtime.
Lewis said, “We had a total team effort on defense against their 6-foot-9 center, (Gavin) Donley. And we held them to only three players scoring.”
Donley still scored 25 points and Trey Martin added 17 for Boiling Springs.

GIRLS BASKETBALL
Greencastle-Antrim 23, Boiling Springs 10: With their offense not flowing, the Blue Devils put on a defensive clinic against the Bubblers to pick up a Mid Penn Colonial victory Thursday night.

Boiling Springs did not score until 6:30 was left in the second period on two free throws, its first basket came with 2:57 left, and it trailed 14-4 at halftime. It was the second straight game G-A held its opponent to just four first-half points.
Greencastle (4-0, 2-0 MPC) failed to score a point in the third quarter, but the Bubblers managed only two. In the final frame, the Blue Devils had a 9-4 scoring advantage.
Sayge Wilhide tossed in a trio of 3-pointers to lead Greencastle with 9 points. Olivia Winslow had 8 points and Ashley Noblit 6, including four straight foul shots late to add the finishing touches.
Winslow added five rebounds and Mia Libby had six, and Greencastle forced 21 turnovers.
WRESTLING
Shippensburg 66, Greencastle-Antrim 12: The Blue Devils managed to score a pair of pins, but the Greyhounds won the rest of the matches in a Mid Penn Colonial match Thursday night.
The wins for Greencastle (1-3, 0-2 MPC) came at 126 by Garrett Keener in 3:54, and at 145 by Jared Miller in 3:57.
Shippensburg (3-3, 1-0 MPC) got pins from Dylan Ramsey (132), Kohl Holderbaum (152), Avian Vasquez (160), Aiden Reed (182), Richard Morris (220) and Sean Hess (285), as well as five forfeits.
