McConnellsburg, Pa. – McConnellsburg (02, 0-1 ICC) hosted the Rockets of Southern Huntingdon and dropped an Inter County Conference matchup 59 to 47. McConnellsburg Coach Josh Lowery commented, “We need to do a better job down the stretch of the game, we completely controlled the game but didn’t take care of the small things that matter we went 1-9 from the foul line and had 8 turnovers in the 4th quarter. I need to get our young guys comfortable in the 4th quarter. It is expected to have some hiccups early in the season especially while putting together pieces to a puzzle while still looking for our true identity and learning to love to play defense.” JV – SH 45 MHS 38. The Spartans will travel to Everett at 6:00 on Friday.
