Blazers’ Hott earns state honor

Kenneth Hott of Cumberland Valley Christian School was recently selected as a Pennsylvania High School Player of the Week by MaxPreps and United Soccer Coaches.

Hott was chosen for his on-field efforts during the week of Oct. 21-27 as he sparked the Blazers to the Division III championship at the National Association of Christian Athletes (NACA) soccer tournament.

United Soccer Coaches uses results and statistics provided by MaxPreps.com to select one boy and one girl honoree from each participating state competing each week during the fall season.

Hott led the Blazers to the Mason-Dixon Christian Conference title this fall. He wound up the season with 39 goals and 19 assists. He eclipsed the 100-goal and 100-assist marks for his career during the regular season.
