Chambersburg 3, Mifflin County 0: The Trojans rolled to wins of 25-16, 25-6 and 25-20 to dust the Huskies in a Mid Penn Commonwealth match Thursday evening.
“It was our last home match and it was good to get everyone some significant playing time,” Chambersburg assistant coach Bobby Culler said. “It was fun to see the younger girls step in and play at a high level. We took care of business.”
Hannah Runk led the team in service points with 10, and that included 8 aces. Taylor Myers (9, 2) and Robyn Stepler (9, 4) were also strong in serving.
At the net, Rachael Meyers led in blocks with 4 and added 5 kills, while Marlee Wrights had 7 kills and Isabella Fidler had 5. Assists were split by Willa Moats (10), Stepler (8) and Myers (6).
In digs, Raelyn Johnson picked up 13 and Myers added 10.
Chambersburg is 12-5 (8-5 MPC).
