Fannett Metal 4 Forbes Road 1
Willow Hill, Pa. – Fannett Metal (10-4, 5-2 ICC) hosted Forbes Road (1-13, 0-8 ICC) and downed the Cardinals 4-1. Matt Peppernick started the scoring for the Tigers assisted by Tanner Seibert. Peppernick then assisted Colton Kline’s goal to make the score 2-0 at the half. Seibert scored twice in the second half, while Brandon Mellott scored for the Cardinals to make the final 4 to 1. Fannett Metal Coach Tom Otis said, “We had a very rough first 20 minutes, but started to settle down after that. Once we started passing and finding the open man, the spaces started to open up. Tanner Seibert scored on a free-kick from around 20 yards out, which was good to see as he has been working on his free-kicks after practice.” Forbes Road will travel to Johnstown Christian Academy on Thursday for a 4:00 start. Fannett Metal will travel to McConnellsburg on Friday for a 5:00 start.
McConnellsburg 5 Southern Fulton 1
McConnellsburg, Pa. – In a county and conference matchup McConnellsburg (15-0, 8-0 ICC) broke open a close game in the second half to down Southern Fulton (9-5, 4-4 ICC) 5 to 1. Landon Seiders had a big night for the Spartans scoring 3 goals. Javier Arteaga added 2 goals in the win. Darwin Reyes scored for Southern Fulton. The Spartans outshot the Indians 18 to 3. Colby Whiteside recorded 10 saves in goal for Southern Fulton. Southern Fulton Coach Hervey Hann commented, “The score was 1-1 in first half with 2 minutes to go when they scored their second goal. In the second half we never came back to play as we gave up 3 goals.” Southern Fulton will travel to Berkeley Springs on Wednesday with the gametime of 7:00. McConnellsburg will host conference rival Fannett Metal on Friday at 5:00.

McConnellsburg, Pa. – After losing the match up earlier in the season 2-1, the Lady Indians of Southern Fulton (10-3, 6-3 ICC) exacted revenge Monday evening on the road by soundly defeating county rival McConnellsburg (7-7, 4-4) 4-0. Kayleigh Cirtwell opened the scoring in the first half, thanks to an assist from Savannah McKelvy. The second half saw the game open up for the Lady Indians as Lydia Hiller scored two and Grace Mosemann scored one. Emma Wilson and Kylie Golden provided the assists. Goalkeeper Jenna Dere recorded seven saves for the shutout win. McConnellsburg’s keeper Madisyn Culler had seventeen saves. Southern Fulton travels to Berkeley Springs on Wednesday for a 5:00 start. McConnellsburg will host Fannett Metal on Friday at 7:00.
