Blazers blank Faith, 3-0

The Cumberland Valley Christian Blazers won their fourth straight game, defeating Faith Christian 3-0 Tuesday in a Mason-Dixon Christian Conference boys soccer match.

The Blazers (7-4-2, 5-2-2 MDCC) went ahead 1-0 in the 10th minute of the game when Kenneth Hott scored on an assist from Caleb Eckert. Four minutes later, Hott directed a left-footed shot into the far right-hand corner after collecting a pass from Mario Wiesman.

Thirteen minutes into the second half, goalkeeper Jack Gabler came out to take a free kick from behind the midfield line. Gabler drilled an arching shot over the outstretched arm of the Faith goalkeeper for the final goal.

Gabler made 14 saves for the Blazers, who led 7-3 in corner kicks.
