Southern Fulton 5 Johnstown Christian Academy 0

Warfordsburg, Pa.- Southern Fulton (8-4) hosted JCS and picked up a non league win 5 to 0. The Indians outshot the Blue Jays 39 to 8. Tyler Youngblood led Southern Fulton with 2 goals while A.J. Smith, Darwin Reyes, and Quaid Brady each added a goal. Reyes also added 3 assists. Caleb Elder and Brady each added an assist. Colby Whiteside had 5 saves to preserve the shutout. Southern Fulton Coach Hervey Hann said, “The boys played a good game. We really did not start to connect on goal until the second half. The defense was back to its usual great game with Colby being called on to make 5 saves. The second half the offense was making all the right moves.” Southern Fulton travels to Forbes Road on Wednesday for a 4:00 start.

Fannett Metal 5 Northern Bedford 2

Willow Hill, Pa. – Fannett Metal (7-4, 4-2 ICC) picked up a league win by beating Northern Bedford 5 to 2. Tanner Siebert led the Tigers with 2 goals. Colton Kline, Ayden Warren, and Owen Gorman each scored as well. Matt Peppernick and Darstan Warren each added an assist. Fannett Metal Coach Tom Otis commented, “We came out flat during the first 10 minutes, but picked up the intensity as the game went on.  We had difficulty connecting our passes throughout the game.” Fannett Metal travels to Central on Thursday for a 4:00 start.

McConnellsburg 5 Rockwood 3

The Lady Spartan soccer team picked up two win in the last three days.  Starting Saturday with a 5-3 win over Rockwood.  Harlee Souders, Lainnie Glenn and Kailey Swope each a goal each.  Jensen Boehme added two goals to round out the Spartan scoring.  Kailey Swope and Maecy Richards each had an assist and Lainnie Glenn chipped in with two assists.

McConnellsburg 9 Tussey Mt. 0

The Lady Spartans (7-5, 4-2 ICC) travel to Tussey Mountain Monday night and picked up a comfortable 9-0 victory.  Izzy Keefer and Sheridan Perry each scored two goals for the Spartans. Maecy Richards, Harlee Souders, Jensen Boehme, Abby Hann, and Madisyn Culler each added one goal each.  The Spartans defense was flawless, not allowing Tussey mountain any shots on goal.  McConnellsburg travels to Everett on Wednesday for a 5:00 start.
