Waterfall, Pa. – Forbes Road (1-10) won their first game of the season in impressive fashion with a 5 to 0 win over Belleville Mennonite. Jonas Shaneman scored 2 goals to lead the Cardinals. Nick Reyan and Holden Lupey each scored a goal in the win. Even goal keeper Matt Clippinger added a goal from his keeper position. The Cardinals travel to McConnellsburg on Monday to play the Spartans at 6:00.

Everett 2 Southern Fulton 0

Warfordsburg, Pa. – Mason Cessna and Spencer Weaver each scored goals to lead Everett over Southern Fulton (7-4, 3-4) in an ICC contest. The Warriors outshot the Indians 17 to 11. Colby Whiteside had 9 saves in goal for Southern Fulton. Indian Coach Hervey Hann commented, “For the most part the boys played a good game. They were able to set up their 2 goals on missed kicks by the defense.” Southern Fulton will host Johnstown Christian Academy on Monday at 4:00.

McConnellsburg 3 Rockwood 0

Rockwood, Pa. – The MHS boys soccer team defeated Rockwood on the road Saturday by a score of 3-1.  Javier Arteaga scored off an assist from Bryce Kylor.  Landon Seiders scored 2 goals for the Spartans with one assist from Javier Arteaga.  Caleb Strait had 2 saves in goal.  The Spartans improve their record to 11-0. McConnellsburg will host Forbes Road on Monday at 6:00.

Girl’s Results

Everett 4 Southern Fulton 2

Warfordsburg, Pa. – The Lady Indians of Southern Fulton (7-3, 4-3 ICC) dropped their second game in a row Saturday, when they hosted the Lady Warriors of Everett.  The final score was 4-2. Kayleigh Cirtwell and Emma Wilson scored the goals for Southern Fulton, thanks to assists from Savannah McKelvy and Catie Smith. Goalkeeper Jenna Dere had ten saves. The Indians return to action on Tuesday, when they host Tussey Mt. at 4:00.
