McConnellsburg, Pa.- McConnellsburg Lady Spartans (4-6, 3-3 ICC) lost the first two sets, but came back to win the next three for a victory over NBC Lady Panthers. (24-26,21-25,25-11,27-25,15-6). Senior middle hitter Katelyn Truax had a strong showing at the net with 20 kills and 3 blocks. Freshman middle hitter Lariah Souders came alive with an impressive 16 kills and 4 blocks. Outside hitter Lexi Hoover added 5 kills and 7 service aces. Outside hitter Kylie Brown had 4 kills and 4 service aces. McConnellsburg Coach Kellee Truax said, “I was very proud that the girls came back and won after such a slow start. It was a nice team effort to get a win in the book.” JV – MHS 2 NBC 0.
