Willow Hill, Pa. – Despite outshooting the Lady Tigers of Fannett-Metal 17-5, the Lady Indians of Southern Fulton (7-2, 4-2 ICC) dropped their game 1-0, when they traveled Thursday afternoon. Goalkeeper Jenna Dere had four saves in the match. Southern Fulton will host Everett on Saturday at 12:30.

McConnellsburg 2 Northern Bedford 0

McConnellsburg, Pa. – The Lady Spartan soccer team (5-5, 3-2 ICC) pushed their record back to 500 last night, beating the Northern Bedford Panthers in convincing fashion by a score of 2-0.  The Spartans defense locked down the Panther offense until the Spartan offense was able to break through.  Lannie Glenn netted the first Spartan goal, while Izzy Keefer found the net for the second score.  Harley Souders picked up an assist in the winning effort. McConnellsburg travels to Rockwood on Saturday for a 1:00 start.

Warfordsburg, Pa. – Fannett Metal (5-4, 3-2 ICC) traveled to Southern Fulton (7-3, 3-3 ICC) and picked up an ICC win 5 to 0. The Tigers got single goals from Tanner Seibert, Colton Kline, Ian Black, Sam Mackey, and Owen Gorman. Matt Peppernick and Tanner Siebert had 2 assists each. Southern Fulton outshot Fannett Metal 20 to 13. Luke Coffman had 12 saves in goal for the Tigers. Colby Whiteside had 8 saves for Southern Fulton. Indian Coach Hervey Hann commented,”We never showed up for the game. The defense was misjudging balls and miskicking balls. We had very little passing and give and go. It was 4 to 0 the first half and they scored a fifth goal in the second half. We were constantly being beat to the ball.” Southern Fulton will host Everett on Saturday at 2:00.
