YORK SPRINGS >> Shippensburg got off to a fast start and remained unbeaten with a 37-12 non league victory over Bermudian Springs Friday night.
The Greyhounds (3-0) led 7-0 after the first quarter but outscored the Eagles 20-6 (1-1) in the second to go into halftime with a 27-6 lead.
Alex Sharrow paced the offense again with nine carries for 141 yards and two touchdowns. Jacob Loy added 16 carries for 107 yards and a pair of scores, and Max Kalb also added 62 yards on 10 rushes.
Quarterback Zack Manning finished 6 of 12 for 90 yards. Nick Gustafson added three receptions for 53 yards, and Christian Melendez, Isaiah Houser and Loy added one catch apiece.
