Chambersburg out-shot the Black Knights 18-6, although it trailed in corner kicks, 4-2. Goalkeeper Garrett Carter made 3 saves.

“What an awesome game,” Trojan coach Corey Grove said. “Our guys in the middle — Mikey Williams, Cole Myers and Aaron Maynard — put in a full shift and were all over the field.

“I couldn’t have asked for more from Jose Morales up front with his work rate. His ability to press and pressure defenders helps our team out defensively.”

Tanner Luther assisted on the game-winning goal.

Chambersburg earned a free kick about 2 minutes into the OT near midfield. Luther sent a ball into the box and Maynard flicked it into the goal.

Luther also assisted on the first goal for the Trojans (3-0), scored by Logan Drawbaugh. And Luther scored the second goal, assisted by Austin Stapleton.

Grove said, “Our defense was stout and organized, but was unfortunate to give up a penalty kick late in the game to give them the tying goal.”
