The Fannett-Metal Tigers made a pair of first-half goals stand up in a 2-1 victory over the Cumberland Valley Christian Blazers Thursday in a non-league boys soccer game.
“We are still trying to find our chemistry,” Blazers coach Stan Hott said. “We are playing better, but we just have not been able to put a whole game together.”
The Blazers scored in the second half when Kenneth Hott connected on an assist from Isaac Kauffeldt.
Goalkeeper Jack Gabler made five saves for the Blazers (0-2-1), who travel to Martinsburg, W. Va., today for a Mason-Dixon Christian Conference game against Faith Christian.
