Trojan Cup Tournament
Camp Hill 1, Chambersburg 0: The Lions scored a goal in the first half and made it stand up to capture a win over the host Trojans in the championship at Trojan Stadium on Saturday evening.

Lindsey Swanger
Chambersburg had more shots than Camp Hill (5-4) and both had two corner kicks. Goalkeeper Annie Metzger made four saves.
Trojan coach Ed Franchi said, “It was a very good game between two well-matched teams. Our defense played much better than in the first game.
“We came out and played with a lot of energy in the second half and had several opportunities, but couldn’t find the back of the net.”
In the first round, Chambersburg built a 4-0 lead, then withstood a big comeback by Gettysburg to take a 5-4 victory.
The Trojans piled up a 3-0 lead in the first half on goals by Adeline Williams after a corner kick, Lindsey Swanger on a volley and Aubrey Pyne on a give-and-go from Ahsia Thomas. Gianna Weigel and Layne Kimple also had assists.
Early in the second half, Katarina Betris set Swanger free on a breakaway and she converted for a 4-0 lead.
But the Warriors rallied to make it 4-3 before Pyne scored on a header from Brooke Huntsman to seal the win.
Franchi said, “It was a crazy game. We played well in the first half, but after we went up 4-0, we kind of fell apart. I guess they thought the game was over, which it wasn’t. Hopefully, they will learn to play the entire game, no matter what.”
Metzger made 10 saves for the Trojans (1-1).
Gettysburg beat Susquehanna Twp. 7-0 to place third.
