Fulton/FM District V Track Championship Results

At Northern Bedford, Loysburg, Pa.

McConnellsburg

The girls track team took 3rd place at the District V Track and Field Championship last evening.  Congratulations to Hailey Dodson for winning shot put and discus. She will be competing at the PIAA State Track Championships next Friday and Saturday.  Other event place holders include Shelby Harnish, who placed 3rd in the 100 hurdles and 3rd in long jump.   Lexi Hoover took 2nd in shot put.  Skyler Speigle took 4th in the 100m and 6th in the 200m, the girls 4×100 team took 2nd place. It consisted of Shelby Harnish, Lainnie Glenn, Essence Robinson and Skyler Spiegle.  The girls 4×800 relay took 5th, which consisted of Braelyn Snyder, Mary Booth, Lainnie Glenn, and Sheridan Perry.  Perry also took 5th in the 800.   The boys 4×800 team of Jacob Strait, Xavier Buterbaugh, Eli Washabaugh and Matt Gable took 6th place. 

Southern Fulton

The Southern Fulton girl’s 4x400m team of Jillian Hiller, Sierra McDonald, Cheyenne Ribson, and Lydia Hiller placed 2nd. Drew Gordon placed 3rd in the javelin. Lindsey Hollenshead placed 3rd in the triple jump. Lydia Hiller placed 3rd in the 400m and 5th in the 200m. Abby Fischer earned 4th in the 3200m, while Cheyenne Risbon placed 5th in the 400m and Olivia Buchheit had a 5th in the 3200m. The team of Claire Dudich, Corinne Mellott, Reanna Rice, and Cheyenne Risbon placed 6th in the 4×800, while Hannah Day placed 6th in the discus. Casey Spade earned a 2nd in the 400m for the boys. The boy’s 4x800m finished 4th, which was a team of Tavita Ah Loe, AJ Smith, James Buchheit, and Caleb Elder. The 4×400 team of Ethan Clark, Dayton Pelton, Jarrett Mellott, and Casey Spade came in 5th. The 4×100 team earned a 6th, which consisted of Ethan Clark, Brady Quaid, Carson Elbin, and Jacob Stocker. Other 4th place finishers included Caleb Elder in the 3200m, Nate Voight in the 1600m, and Tavita Ah Loe in the pole vault. Fifth place finishers included Jarrett Mellott in the 300m hurdles and AJ Smith in the 800m. Sixth place finishers were Justin Morris in the high jump and triple jump and James Buchheit in the 800m and 3200m.

Fannett Metal

Fannett Metal girls earned two 6th place finishes with Emma Wood in the high jump and Brynn Hartman in the 100m. Darston Warren earned a 6th in the shot Put.
