Its District 3 playoff time and tonight (Thursday 5/16) we preview the upcoming spring sports playoffs on Chalk Talk at 7:30 p.m. on Mid Penn Broadcasting and WRGG 93.7 FM.

Ed Gotwals will join us to talk about the Chambersburg Trojans. Volleyball begins district play tonight, the District 3 Track and Field championships are at Shippensburg University Friday and Saturday, the Lady Trojans begin softball playoffs on Thursday May 23 as the #3 seed have a first round bye in 6A and will host Manheim Township in the quarterfinals.

Kegan Crider will talk about the Waynesboro Indians who begin district play Thursday May 23 as the Indians (18-2) are the # 3 seed in 6A ,earned a first round bye and will host Red Lion in the quarterfinals. The # 15 Waynesboro Maidens will travel to # 2 Spring Grove for a first round game Tuesday May 21.

John Freeman will talk about the Greencastle-Antrim Lady Blue Devils. Greencastle is the #7 seeds and begins play hosting Cedar Cliff in the first round May 21.

We will take a look at the James Buchanan Lady Rockets #4 seed in 4A who also earned a first round bye and will host Kennard Dale on Thursday May 23.
